Frequently Asked Questions

The Lost Traditions Letter Society is a monthly letter sent by post, created for those who feel drawn to a slower way of living.

Each issue is thoughtfully put together and includes a seasonal letter, a page from the old ways, a recipe card to collect and make in your own kitchen, and small practical pieces to use and keep. Plus... each month we will include one of our member's recipes and stories to share with everyone. Connecting like minded people who value old traditions is what we are about.

It is meant to be something you sit down with, a quiet moment in your day, away from the noise.

Shipping is always included free, and each monthly letter is sent directly to your mailbox.

All letters are mailed out on the 15th of each month. Delivery typically takes 2–8 days, depending on your location. For international members, delivery may take 10–14 days. Over seas delivery may take 28 to reach you, but remember that everything is shipped out on the 15th of each month so the mail will become regularly.

If your letter is ever lost or does not arrive, we will happily resend it or apply a credit toward your next month.

The Lost Traditions Letter Society is a monthly subscription, billed once per month unless you choose the 6 month or 12 month prepaid option.

After joining, your first letter will be sent with the next mailing. Each month after that, your subscription will renew automatically on the same date as your original purchase so you continue receiving each new issue.

You’re free to cancel at any time before your next billing date.

No, the contents of each letter are created to be experienced by mail.

We keep what’s inside the envelope private to the society, so each issue remains something special to receive and open.

This is not a collection of random items or trends.

Each letter is created around the old ways of home — cooking from scratch, preserving food, tending to the seasons, and making rather than buying.

Over time, what you receive becomes something you can return to — a growing collection rooted in simple living and tradition.
